Services

At Global Client Leader Gym our aim is to ensure your GCL is maximising the value you get from your communications and is ultimately fit to deliver in your best interests. We do this by offering:

PITCH SUPPORT: working alongside Clients, Intermediaries and Third Parties, we provide specialised and rigorous analysis to ensure that the person who ends up leading your account is the best possible candidate.

ANNUAL CHECK-INS: we provide analysis and input on where your GCL is strong and where they need extra work.

MENTORING: we can provide a programme of independent, empathetic but directional assistance to your GCL, helping them keep fit for purpose.

RECRUITMENT: You want the efficiency and cost savings of working with one holding company, but you also want to ensure that your GCL retains independence in your best interest. We can work with you and/or an industry recruiter to provide specialist input to help locate the best possible candidate.

WE ENSURE COMPLETE CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY

About Us

Having trained at Cambridge University before teaching in both the US and UK, CHRIS HUNTON has always retained an interest in continuous learning in the 39 years he has been working with global clients in the communications industry. With experience as Managing Director at Lowe London, as well as CEO at McCann London, he moved to WPP in 2006 to establish one of the first holding company global teams for Land Rover. Having worked for IPG for 10 years and WPP for 18 years, he knows his way around the holding company landscape and has supervised many global brands including: Cadbury, Heinz, Gillette, adidas, Gatorade, Smirnoff, Bacardi, Nestlé Cereals and Emirates Airlines. He was one of the longest serving members of the UK Institute of Practitioners in Advertising Council, as well as a tutor on some of their training courses. He was a founding mentor on the WPP Female Empowerment Programme (Stella) and still mentors a number of former colleagues.

Away from work, he is the chair of one of the oldest UK homeless charities (The Simon Community) and a Non-Executive Director at Glaucoma UK.

DR SARA FINCH has lectured both undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of London, to add to her marketing experience as a client in the tech sector. It was within companies such as Siemens and Logica that she developed her interest in helping high-performing teams. After a career break, she qualified as a Barrister and has subsequently worked with a range of clients in the legal world. Still fascinated by the intricacies of process and costs, she is also a published author in this area.

Away from work, she has been engaged with the Royal British Legion as a volunteer for over 10 years.
